Egg Tot Recipe

Makes: 12 servings

Ingredients:

– 36 thawed tater tots

– 10 large eggs

– 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream or half-and-half

– 1/2 cup shredded cheese

– 2 teaspoons garlic powder

– 2 teaspoons onion powder

– 1 package (2.5 ounces) of real bacon bits

– Salt, to taste

– Pepper, to taste

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

Grease a muffin tin using butter. Insert three tater tots into each cup of the muffin tin and press them down.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, cream, shredded cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and bacon bits. Season the mixture with salt and pepper according to your preference. Carefully pour this mixture into each section of the muffin tin until full.

Position a baking sheet beneath the muffin tin to catch any spills, then bake for 20-25 minutes.

NOTE: These can be prepared in advance, allowing you to simply reheat them in the microwave for an easy, on-the-go meal.
