Servings: 12 cups
2 packages (16 ounces each) of chocolate chip cookie dough
Whipped Cream:
1 cup of heavy cream
2 tablespoons of sugar
Filling:
8 ounces of softened cream cheese
1/2 cup of powdered sugar
1 cup of heavy whipping cream
Optional toppings: crumbled cookies
Optional toppings: sprinkles
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
In a muffin tin, press three pieces of cookie dough into each compartment. Bake for 15 minutes, then allow to cool for 5 minutes. Use a shot glass to press down in the center of each cookie cup. Let cool for another 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Using a hand mixer, whip heavy cream and sugar until it thickens, then add the cream cheese and powdered sugar, mixing until smooth. Spoon the filling into the cooled cookie cups.
If you wish, utilize a piping bag to create a decorative edge around the cookie cups. Add crumbled cookies or sprinkles as toppings if desired.
