Founded in 1986, St. Andrew United Methodist Church embodies the spirit of its namesake, a disciple of Jesus. Mirroring the life of Apostle Andrew, the church’s mission is to invite both the curious and the unchurched to become enthusiastic servants of Christ. St. Andrew’s congregation follows Jesus, fosters relationships, serves others, and takes risks in faith. Each weekend, the church hosts four services on a 21.2-acre campus at the intersection of Plano Parkway and Mira Vista in Plano, Texas, welcoming over 2,000 attendees. Recent renovations allow worship to be conducted in both Traditional style, featuring a classic pipe organ, and Contemporary style, equipped with modern LED screens and lighting. Small groups and Bible studies meet throughout the week at various locations. The church also engages in mission initiatives that benefit local communities, surrounding regions, and global partners. Readers of the Plano Star Courier have frequently recognized St. Andrew as a “Best Place to Worship in Plano.” The church’s address is 5801 W. Plano Parkway, Plano, Texas 75093.
